What is the scope of variables?

Scenarios can be called in other scenarios; this is called nesting. This feature saves you time when developing a set of test scenarios that call the same steps.

If we call the outer scenario, parent scenario and inner scenario a child scenario, a variable can be accessed anywhere within the scenario itself and its child scenarios.

Parent scenario doesn't have access to its child variables.
